Vintage Notes

The fruit was cold soaked on its skins for 14 hours before being lightly pressed.

Fermented in small batches, we played around with various yeast strains and temperature. This has allowed the complexity you see in the glass. This wine is textural as well as very fruit driven.

About the Origin

Situated on the western edge of the NSW Snowy Mountains, Tumbarumba has built a reputation on producing some of Australia’s best Chardonnay.

The reigon boasts similar temperatures to the Yarrah Valley, with high sunshine hours and brilliant light quality.

Soil composition is typical of its high mountain proximity. Decomposed granite, basalt and mineral rich runoff resulting in a typically “gritty” and “granular” texture.

Timothy Williamson – Staff

“A great Aussie Chardonnay”.

Fresh melon and tropical stone fruits with lovely oaky undertones. The pallet is dry and acid well ballanced.

At $14.99 this is a great Aussie chardonnay to keep on hand for any occasion.

A Gio – Customer

“Nectarine and a touch of line with a smooth finish”.

The grapes are from Tumbarumba and this is a lovely version of a cool climate Chardonnay. Nectarine and a touch of line with a smooth finish.

Jon Levi – Customer

“Woody finish. Most pleasing.”.
