Vintage Notes
This vineyard crops low, with small berries in tight bunches. As such the fruit has quite concentrated and intense flavours.
From The Wine maker
Some stems included in the ferments to build complexity and give a savoury balance to the fruit. Specialty yeasts were chosen for the same reason. This was quite a hands on wine, with hand plunging up to 5 or 6 times a day during fermentation.
About the Winery
Marlborough soils are a balanced mix of moisture and stone creating wines that are unique to our region. Our vineyards are based in one of the most dynamic climates in New Zealand, creating brilliant, fruity, fresh wines.
Warm clear days with loads of sunshine give us great conditions for ripening the fruit. Low impact of disease such as mould means our wines are very fruit driven and pure.
Ant Moore and our family of wine makers work hard and play hard. We treat wine making as a meticulous marriage of science and art. The grapes of Marlborough never sleep, and neither do we. At all hours of the day something magical is happening on the vineyards. Follow the story of our lives and see how passion and technology make Ant Moore wines an intimate experience…

Reviews
Racing away as this producer’s strongest wine, this peach-hued drop comes with a delicate, attractive nose of cherries, peaches, strawberry leaf and blossoms. The palate is dry with crunchy fruit and a herbal leafy undertone. The finish is long and tangy. It is a softly spoken food-friendly wine that would be great with a wide array of summer dishes.
